Farah Vintage Clothing

The Farah brand was born in the 1920s but it was not until the 1970s in the UK that it reached the cult status it holds today with many people.

The original Farah slack trousers made from the hopsack canvas became an immediate hit with the youth of Britain. They were slim cut, sharply tailored and featured stain resistant technology, which for the time were unlike anything available.

Momentum for the brand grew more in the 1970s and in the 1980s Farah Vintage clothing became a must have amongst fashion savvy groups including the mods, skins, sticksmen and rocker billys. Seen on the balconies at gigs across the UK music scene, each group interpreted the Farah brand within their own style and in turn built key Farah items into what became their definitive looks. Key items included the Farah trousers and Farah polo shirts. Farah clothing came to represent a sense of elitism amongst them while generating respect for those who displayed the now famous "Farah F tab".

In today's fashion conscious state, the Farah label still holds the heritage and vigour it stood for all those years ago with a whole new generation of men throughout the world being drawn to the brands history and is inspired to rediscover the distinct look for themselves.

In 2010 Farah launched a new amended fit on the Farah trouser based on a 80s classic hopsack style that harks back to the 80s but actually fit around the waist like any other modern day trouser.

For many people now who back in the early and late 80s couldn't necessarily afford the Farah Vintage clothing, this is now the time for them to go back to the brand and establish themselves with Farah mills trousers and Farah vintage polo shirts.
